New models in King Edward range
King Edward Catering Equipment celebrated their attendance at the recent Hotelympia 2008 exhibition at London ExCel with the launch of two all new baking ovens: the Vista 40 and Vector 25.
Both new ovens are designed to offer high quality and contemporary alternatives to their long-established range of traditionally styled potato bakers.
The new ovens feature modern clean lines in stainless steel, polished chrome and glass and follow a more contemporary design than the current range of "traditional" counter top bakers which have been market leaders for well over 20 years. Offering increased visibility of the freshly cooked potatoes the ovens should appeal to a wide range of customers, across public sector and commercial foodservice operations.
The new bakers utilise the same high performance fan assisted convection ovens currently in use within the rest of the range; delivering thorough and consistent cooking and unrivalled reliability. The new designs will both cook an oven full in approximately 60 minutes (the Vista oven has a capacity for 40 potatoes; the Vector cooks 25). A similar quantity can be stored and displayed in an illuminated holding area above the main oven.
With relatively small footprints the units provide superb value for money: users can cook, store, display and merchandise all from a single source. And being fan-assisted convection it can be used to cook any foodstuff - a great back up oven.

The new products will complement the existing Vision 50 baking oven and now provide a family of three contemporary styled ovens, with capacities of 25, 40 and 50 potatoes. King Edward's traditional range of ovens comprises six different styled ovens with capacities ranging from 25, 50 and 100 potatoes.
Volume availability of both new models is scheduled from April 2008.
